Flechazo Kicks X Classic Morrow

Flechazo Kicks is a sneaker review YouTube channel created by Allen Marshall where weekly videos are posted showcasing the best of the best in both retro and new sneakers. The replica sneaker industry is booming just about as much as the authentic industry is, and a new series of review videos produced by Flechazo Kicks and Classic Morrow provides a comparison between the two for those who are looking to save a few bucks on some replicas and those who want to avoid them like the black death.

Classic Morrow Grey Tag

If the colour of a clothing label excites you in anyway then, with fair conviction, you may be thought of as weird or at the very least slightly eccentric. But to the Nike devotees, Swoosh purist and Air enthusiasts the vintage Nike "Grey Tag" is the equivalent to the holy grail in terms of retro sportswear. The latest Classic Morrow labels are inspired and pay perfect homage to the Nike "Grey Tag" for all the weirdos and eccentrics out there.

The Greatest Outdoors

There's nothing better than walking aimlessly through a forest, whilst tripping over pine cones with no intention of reaching any specific destination. Then spontaneously deciding that the top of a dried out dormant ski slope is a self evident route for an untrained sprint in 36°+ heat, but two thirds of the way up realising that this lucid idea was maybe a mistake. Actually nothing is a mistake during this brief virtuous flash in our lives. Footnote: I didn't realise Epcot began life a top Mt Olympus. Born Sinner and Acid Rap locked and loaded as we willingly get lost among the many liquid deprived country roads of the back garden of Cyprus, whilst contemplating the awe-inspiring possibility of the two of them forming a rap duo to rival Jay and Yeezy. Goats a plenty, road kill, hyperventilation, mind boggling views, mind boggling heat, winter sports teams in the middle of summer, ridiculously cyan coloured reservoirs,  the Gods play ground.

Transcontinental Excursions

As I look out over the garden, which is illuminated by the various garden lights including the pool light, after 24 hours of being a temporary inhabitant of Peyia I indulge myself in the hospitality of the in-laws. The next 14 days have specifically been reserved for hardcore relaxing and occasional activity explorations of the nonchalant kind.

There Are People Who Go To Parties, Start Parties and Those Who Are Parties

British summertime consists of: tee shirt tans, fake Ray Bans, melted 99's, pimms with pieces of fruit so fat that you might as well call it a meal, messy beer festivals, moist public transportation and a good and proper music festival. A few Friends and I (consisting of some chums i met in the mountains of Meribel, some "getting on a bit" graduates, students and high school drop outs) decided it would be a good idea to start our summer early by hitting the Evolution Festival in Newcastle. Not only do we know how to start summer early but we also know how to start a party.

Sharing Childhood Memories and Grown Up Dreams

We set out from two separate locations within the city of London, in the early hours of a sunny spring Sunday morning, with the one goal of re-kindling our brotherhood glazed with some impulse buying. 120 miles of separation can put a stain on two brothers. But with crazy shirts, denim jackets, escalator snapchats, Taylor Swfit dances, mannequin imitations, marching bands and food on the brain, the separation was a mere memory

Barbering by iSMAiLS

Its quite astonishing what you can rustle up within the bathroom of a dirty top floor flat on a future derelict council estate in Kingston upon Thames. By that I'm speaking of the In The Cut television sensation. I threw out a reckless comment in regards to In The Cut, aimed at my local barbers over the medium of twitter. I cant remember what exactly but something along the lines of "putting them out of business". They then responded with "you guys should make us a video". And with that The Collective got to work. Enjoy.

I have always been deeply interested in videography and music production, even created some pieces of my own. However, I have never had the motivation to follow through with it. Although saying this, I still love to be part of the process of creating music and film. Stefan Etim-James is good friend of mine and is a bio medical science grad who also dabbles in videography. It might sound like i'm understating his quality as a videographer but i do actually have a lot of love for his work. Lars Sylvest is an ex-housemate of mine and still remains a good friend in my life. Lars is a skilled beat maker. The only way to describe his music is by saying he makes the music that my ears crave to hear. I recently asked these guys to join my brother James Jeremy and I to form the Classic Morrow Collective... and of course they accepted.

Stickerssssssss

We have been receiving an outstanding amount of support from everyone and unfortunately letting quite a few of you down. Recently we have been finely combing through the far corners of the internet to find a suitable manufacturer or supplier to source our clothes but to no avail. The Original Crew Neck Sweaters were awesome, the fit was perfect and the quality really helped portray the fineness of Classic Morrow. We do have one manufacture to follow up who will hopefully supply the garments for forthcoming releases this summer. In the mean time we thought we'd rustle up something to keep you going until then. We're just waiting on the order of some really cool, high quality stickers featuring The Original logo, which will be arriving this week and will be on sale to you on Friday 1st March.

The Plot Thickens...

First off I want to start by saying I love blogspot, it was there for what I needed at the time. It was a bit aimless and naive but still fun. I managed to rack up over 20,000 views and a #1 Google Ranking in under a year, not to shabby if i say so myself. With this and my big bro James Jeremy jumping aboard to start this whole clothing thing, we thought it would be appropriate to get a domain and a half decent looking website. Let us know what you think and hit like.

"The Original" Logo

I'd like to introduce the first piece of artwork created by Classic Morrow designed by brother James Jeremy Polis named "The Original". This is what he has to say about The Original "Well having studied a little graphic design, I've always loved typography. The combination of bold type and helvetica turns me on slightly. The font its self, never ages, its Swiss, its sexy. Thats what I represent, not so much the Swiss but swish (some might say) and sexy. Stick a little bit of funk around it, circular boarder, like a stamp of authority and BAM!"  It's original, it's sleek and for everyone... Your welcome.

Classic Morrow Phliosophy

I often get asked "what is Classic Morrow, what does it mean?". I like to think of Classic Morrow as a lifestyle of philosophy that focuses on the embodiment of timeless creations that can be inspired by the future, present or past that has the ability to be respected in any era. I regularly think of different aspects in music, fashion and culture that i think fall under the Classic Morrow Philosophy. For example in music James Brown, in fashion Nike Air and the Japanese culture. I myself am influenced by many things including American pop culture and Hip Hop, but also undeniably a true Englishman. I expect you'll see many of our various influences pop up and portrayed through out our creations.

Back To Blog Bussiness With a Twist

When i first created this blog well over a year ago i always dreamed of creating my own clothes a dream also shared by my older brother James. My bro studied graphic communication at university for 3 years and is now a snowboarding seasonaire in France. Recently he approached me with the idea of making some clothes under the Classic Morrow name which i think is the best idea hes had in a long while! I know there hasn't been any blog posts on here in a long time but from now on this blog will be mainly focused on things happening within Classic Morrow clothing. In between blog posts you can also catch me/us on TwitterTumblr, and the new Facebook page. So here it is i guess i'm announcing Classic Morrow "clothing"? on the road.
